The majority of small and medium-sized companies involved in further processing of wood in the Congo Basin operate on a just-in-time basis, and only build up their stocks of sawn timber once the order is “confirmed” by an advance of funds. The delivery time of the finished product to be agreed with their customer must therefore necessarily include the drying time; which poses problems of efficiency and ultimately competitiveness among these companies.
To overcome this difficulty and allow companies to partially resolve the problems linked to the lack of dryness of the wood and the delivery time of the products, Sechoir Cam Sarl is committed to making available to professionals dried wood, ready to use.
Thus, in partnership with community forests and other local suppliers of legal wood, we offer professionals boards in the usual dimensions of several species of wood (iroko, sapele, etc.)
